Up or down?

He had a beautiful burning light
That one day he knew
She kept him warm at night
But one night she flew
Now that light is gone
And all he can see is darkness
A cross in his chest was drawn
He wants to run away but it´s helpless …
All he needs are some words
To help him rise up again

But some cowards
Are trying to kill him
Please don’t end up your fight
We wanna see you win
Please enjoy the daylight
Because its jut the begin

Remember the other day,
And the ice-cream van?
You we´re so far away
At least until we had spoken

We didn´t sleep that night
But I didn´t care
You we´re not all right
But babe… you know life´s not fair

You think that you can’t get over the light
Or should had act like “Stan”
But I think you might...
Or better: I know you can
I just wrote these words
So you could understand
There are many bastards
But you have here a friend xD

Oh well... for an english poem, an english answer.

You may want to review the definition that you put to the being adored by the subject, a burning light never stops shining, maybe she was a flame perhaps? Like flames... maybe the oxigen was taken away from her, thus, extinguishing the burning flame that kept that love alive.

A little advise for the subject, a road always forks at the end, leaving you with two paths... defeat, or fighting. You can choose defeat and go to your daily life that you once had... or fighting for what you believe, for how utopic that can be.

The choice is yours.

Parabéns pela escrita querida blogger do On38 ;))
